COVID-19 Update

COVID-19 Update

In these unique times, the Birck Boilermaker Golf Complex will do everything in our power to remain open for play on the Ackerman-Allen and Kampen Course.

Both the Ackerman-Allen and Kampen Courses will have carts available. We will limit cart use to one cart per person. The only exception will be for imediate family members who live under the same roof. We also have a limited amount of carts with a plexiglass shield in the middle that we can allow two people per cart. All carts will be sanitized before being put away at night in the cart barn. If you wish to use a cart, a member of the BBGC Staff will be stationed at the cart barn to help you get a cart. The Staff member stationed by the carts will also offer you the opportunity to again sanitize your cart before use.

The Birck Boilermaker Golf Complex will be partaking in efforts to help prevent the spread of COVID-19, practice social distancing, and provide a recreational outlet for all.

The Birck Boilermaker Golf Complex will be taking the following precautions and steps:
  • The Pro Shop at the Birck Boilermaker Golf Complex is now open! The following guidelines have been put in place for all guests who enter the Pro Shop:
    • Maximum of 8 guests allowed in the Pro Shop at one time.
    • Face coverings are required by all guests
    • Guests are required to remain socially distant from one another while in the Pro Shop
    • All payments for greens fees, carts, merchandise, etc. must be made by credit card.
  • Payments for greens fees may also be made online. To make your tee time and payment online, please follow these steps:
    • Visit our website,
    • Under the "Play" tab, click on "Book Tee Times". You will also see a gold bar that says "Book a Tee Time". That bar will appear on any screen on the website. Feel free to use that as a way to book you tee time as well.
  • This will open up a calendar on Chronogolf, this is our tee sheet provider. Choose the date that you would like to play, 18 or 9 holes, and how many golfers you have playing. If you have an account with Chronogolf, you may log in with that. If not, you will be asked to create a new customer profile. From here, you will also be able to add a cart if you so desire.
  • Once you have selected your tee time, it will ask for you to enter a credit card for payment. If the payment amount that pops up looks incorrect to you, please call us in the Pro Shop at 765-496-9313 and we can work through any issues you may have.
In addition to the online payment of greens fees and carts, the Birck Boilermaker Golf Complex is taking further precautions to help keep everybody safe:
  • On the course, all cups will be in the ground, but will have a device the only lets the ball fall inches below the ground. You can pick the ball up with your fingers without touching the flagstick. The flagsticks should be touched for no reason.
  • The driving range will still be available for use with a few modifications:
    • The main driving range at the south end of the facility is now open. The outside door to the building will be unlocked and the double doors to the range shop will be open for customers to come in and purchase range balls. Restrooms inside this building will be available for use.Only one person will be allowed in the restrooms at a time.
    • A BBGC Staff member will be down there to take your payment via a credit card. You can slide your credit card though the double doors. The BBGC Staff member will then take your card and process payment.
    • Once payment has been processed, the BBGC Staff member will give you your credit card back. Please exit the building and the BBGC Staff member will put the balls in the hallway for you. Once the staff member is back in the range shop, you may pick up your range balls.
    • We will only allow 15 people hitting balls on the range tee at one time. Please hit from the designated areas in between the ropes on the range tee in front of one of the 15 bag stands that are on the range tee. This is done to help with social distancing and keeping a safe distance from others using the range.

This is a fluid and ever changing situation. We will update the situation as necessary.

If you have any questions at all during these times, please do not hesitate to call us at 765-496-9313.
